Our Reach Up Reach Out Ministries team is so excited to travel to Mexico this August to partner with local ministry Fundación Emanuel to bring a fun, memorable event to 200 vulnerable children... and we are even more excited that YOU may be joining us!!!

We understand this is a big step for you and don’t take lightly your decision to come on this amazing journey with us. Thank you! We know you may have many questions as you prepare for this trip, so on the following pages we have tried to answer some of the most common ones. And of course, we are happy to answer any questions we haven’t covered here.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

Saturday, August 21- Depart LA (location TBD) at 4:30am for Mexico. (3-hour bus ride with a 1 hour stop in Chula Vista to stretch). We will begin the festivities immediately upon arrival across the border. 8am-6pm: Food distribution, games, activities and FUN; There is also a planned visit to an orphanage later in the day. 1-night stay in Tijuana.

• Sunday, August 22- Breakfast at Hotel (TBD) before heading to US/Mexico Border. Arrive in LA at approximately 3pm. (Stopover for lunch after border crossing).

FUNDS:

Application Fee: Upon submitting your application, there is a $50 per person non-refundable application fee due for all new applicants.

Trip Deposit: Please note a deposit of $100 will be due once your application has been processed & approved. This $100 will be counted towards your total trip cost of $400. Please note that the $50 application fee if over and above the trip costs.

Trip Cost: $400 per person total. This includes: Round-trip transportation from LA-Tijuana, hotel accommodations for 1 night,, all meals, drivers & hosts fees, RURO T-shirt, international travel health insurance and a portion of the costs for the in-country celebrations and ministry.
