We commit to: Worship God, Love the Vulnerable and Equip Others to do the same.
Reach Up, Reach Out exists to engage people in worship and outreach as we holistically care for orphans and widows in developing nations, one community at a time. With God leading us, we fight for the world’s most vulnerable and protect their basic rights.
This isn’t just about singing. Worship is all about living our lives to honor and serve God. Reach Up Reach Out was created to do just that. As a result of our efforts (from worship nights to training creative teams) we desire to see the lost recognize their need for Jesus and become found. And we desire that believers walk in new levels of freedom and calling as they worship God.
Love the Vulnerable
What is God’s heart for? That’s easy. It’s for people. We have a mandate to love all people. What is love? It’s an action. It’s doing something that communicates care and value. As Christ followers, we must demonstrate our love for others through service. At Reach Up Reach Out, we believe love is tangible. It results in lives being saved, changed and enhanced, all for the glory of God.
Equip Others to do the same
James 1:27 is a powerful reminder that religion God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. At Reach Up Reach Out, we believe that we can achieve so much more together than we can alone. We commit to train and equip others to live out James 1:27. Through our Sponsorship Program and Short Term Missions trips, anyone who desires to make a difference in the life of an orphan or widow will be able to do so. From individuals, to ministries, to corporations, we plan to involve and partner with whoever has a heart to serve, give and care for those in need.
