We invite you to partner with us in an extraordinary new chapter of Reach Up Reach Out Ministries—Caleb’s Heart Foundation, created in honor of our Founders’ beloved son, Caleb, the Forever Healed One.
Caleb’s journey deeply shaped RURO’s mission. And his cancer diagnosis in 2019 strengthened our resolve to care for the poor, sick, and vulnerable. As a part of RURO, Caleb’s Heart Foundation will fund several initiatives that Caleb was passionate about:

-yearly scholarships for orphans to receive a quality education
-sports and art camps for underserved youth

-constructing a Healed Ones Home in Uganda, his birthplace, providing holistic care, free of charge, to underserved children in Uganda’s impoverished communities
​
Following Caleb’s transition to heaven on February 14, 2024, we remain committed to carrying his legacy forward, ensuring his heart for others continues to beat in every life we touch.
Though his life began in real pain, abandonment, and hopelessness before the Jones-Moreno family adopted him, Caleb refused to let those things define him. He rose above his circumstances as an orphan—and again, a cancer patient—to live with joy, faith, and a contagious kindness that literally changed lives. He encouraged kids and adults alike to see a loving, good God in everything.
That is the spirit behind Caleb’s Heart Foundation, and we believe it reflects what James 1:27 calls “pure and faultless religion… to look after orphans and widows in their distress.”
